Guardians of Dreams is looking for individuals who are passionate about the cause of child care and is interested in building sustainable resource mobilization channels for the organization. Being a startup organization, it requires individuals who are willing to bring an entrepreneurial spirit to the role. This is not a regular 9 to 5 job. It involves serious commitment to the vision, and we are looking for individuals who will stay and grow with the organization.
As Corporate Relations Lead, your key responsibility will be to cultivate leads, nurture relations and engage corporates through meaningful partnerships. You will ensure that projects/events are sponsored and that the fundraising targets set for the corporate & partnerships channel is met. You will manage and grow corporate partnerships for the organization.
You will be required to understand the corporate social responsibility (CSR) landscape, own the fundraising targets set for the vertical, pitch to the CSR teams and build long-term multi-year partnerships for our impact programs. You will be required to identify the right sponsors for the various fundraising events conducted by our city chapters and help build the pool of event sponsors. You will be required to meet potential partners, pitch the organization’s work, create and maintain partnerships.
Key requirements of your role would be ownership of the fundraising targets set, an understanding of the corporate social responsibility landscape; ability to network and generate new leads; be comfortable to present / pitch our impact programs; negotiate a meaningful partnership and grow the corporate relations vertical.
2+ year experience (full-time or voluntary) in a sales role or has served in a similar role in other organisations.
Experience in networking and managing multi-year partnerships for the organization.
Ability to manage corporate relations and manage multiple partnerships at national/international scale.
Ability to influence without authority, manage multiple stakeholder relationships, strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
Ability to negotiate with local vendors and manage vendor contracts.
